Developing Researchers
MY Consultants has been working in the arena of developing reseachers for over six years offering a range of support, workshops and advice to higher education institutions. With a background as academic researchers and supervisors, MY Consultants places the development of skills within the academic context and workshops are highly rated by participants. Recent projects have included:
- Skills development workshops for research staff including career focussed workshops, research project management, moving into being a research manager, influening skills and creativity within the research context.
- The delivery of PhD skills development workshops including Getting the best from your supervisor, Project managing your PhD, Maximising you impact at conferences, Strategies for research success, Negotiating and influencing skills, Career management and Networking skills.
- Coaching researchers to enable them to be more effective in terms of managing project delivery and more effectively managing research relationships.
